Eight of Swords

In Kabbalah, the Eight is form plus form, meaning construction, stability, and constancy. Swords are will, action, thought, and information.

Thus the Eight of Swords is stability, steadiness, and constancy of will, action, and thought. It may symbolize loyalty to ideals, convictions, principles, resilience, and steadfastness.

The distinguishing feature of the Eight of Swords is stability, steadiness, and firmness of something connected with will, action, thought, or information.

The reversed Eight of Swords is loss of stability and firmness, for example an indecisive person who is unsure of themselves and their actions.

Loyalty to an idea:

  • A steady conversation.
  • Persistently discussing something.
  • Being unshakable.
