Jack of Cups
In Kabbalah, the Jack is a messenger or envoy. Cups or Hearts are emotions, feelings, and memories.
Therefore, the Jack of Cups is a messenger, envoy, or indicator that emotions or feelings are ready to manifest at a specific point of reality. For example, it may symbolize joyful news.
Usually the messenger, the Jack of Cups, is a living being. This is not required, however.

The distinguishing feature of the Jack of Cups is news of an emotional nature.
The Jack of Cups often flows smoothly into the Rider of Cups, and the line between them is quite conditional. The Jack is readiness or the very beginning of a process; the Rider is the process itself.
Messenger of information:
- Mail carrier or newspaper.
- Passing on news.
- Telling news yourself.
