King of Wands

In Kabbalah, the King is law, lawgiver, and conductor of Force: an object through which Force manifests, governs, or is transmitted into the world. Wands are chances, probabilities, parameters, and structural connections.

Therefore, the King of Wands is Law and the conductor of chances, probabilities, parameters, and structural connections. In the material world it can symbolize formative laws, rules, licenses, and documents.

The distinguishing feature of the King of Wands is that he is binding Law for the structural connections, chances, parameters, and probabilities under his control.

The reversed King of Wands is a King who, for one reason or another, does not fulfill his role; for example, an expired visa.

One who has subordinated circumstances, or the law of circumstances:

  • An important official distributing funds.
  • Subordinating circumstances.
  • Taming circumstances yourself, for example by exercising or cleaning.
