One of Denarii

After surgery, the surgeon asks the patient: "How do you feel?" "Better now, but at first it felt as if someone hit me on the head with a log." "Unfortunately, that is exactly what happened. When you were brought in, we had run out of anesthesia."

In Kabbalah, the One is impulse, push, strike, or increase. Thus the One of Denarii is an impulse, push, strike, or increase of Matter or Finance. It may symbolize throwing an object or receiving a small one-time profit.

One distinguishing sign of the One is that it immediately tends to become the Two: interaction.

The line between One and Two is conditional and mostly determined by time boundaries and the angle of view.

Impulse of matter:

  • Push, knock.
  • Stomping a foot.
  • Pushing something.
  • Being pushed.
