One of Cups

In Kabbalah, the One is impulse, push, or strike. Cups are emotions, feelings, and memories.

Thus the One of Cups is an impulsive emotion, sudden memory, or movement of the soul. It may symbolize an impulsive kiss, cry, bark, or leap of joy.

The distinguishing feature of the One of Cups is an impulse of emotion. As a rule, it is accompanied by a One of Denarii because emotional impulse seeks an outlet in action.

Impulse of feelings, emotions, information, and memories:

• Remembering something.
• Being surprised.
• Rejoicing.
