One of Swords
In Kabbalah, the One is impulse, push, or strike. Swords are will, action, thought, and information.
Thus the One of Swords is an impulse or push of will, action, and thought. It may symbolize a simple order, thought, or volitional message.

The distinguishing feature of the One of Swords is the presence of an impulse of will, a volitional effort or message, either observed or produced.
Impulse of thought, will, and effort:
- Making an effort.
- Saying something.
