Seven of Cups
In Kabbalah, the Seven is harmony, harmonization, and cutting off everything unnecessary. Cups are emotions, feelings, and memories.
Thus the Seven of Cups is harmonization of feelings, release from unnecessary or wrong emotions, and cleansing of negative feelings, emotions, and memories.
It may symbolize confession, repentance, a therapy session, an honest conversation with a friend, or a shower as washing away a negative state.

The distinguishing feature of the Seven of Cups is release from extra emotions.
The Seven of Cups is closely intertwined with the reversed Ten of Cups, which represents regret, remorse, and negative transformation of feelings. They can be confused, but they differ by rank and sign.
