Seven of Swords

In Kabbalah, the Seven is harmony, harmonization, and cutting off everything unnecessary. Swords are will, action, thought, and information.

Thus the Seven of Swords is harmonization and cutting off everything unnecessary in will, action, and thought. It may symbolize critical thinking, fact checking, or stress testing.

The distinguishing feature of the Seven of Swords is the ability to limit will, action, and thought in a given direction.

From the Kabbalistic point of view, such limits are an upright Seven of Swords: prison, quarantine, shackles. The reversed Seven of Swords can be a broken traffic light, destroyed cage, or loss of self-control.
