In Kabbalah, the Three is system, orderliness, and order. Swords are will, action, thought, and information.

Thus the Three of Swords is system, orderliness, and order of will, action, and thought. It may symbolize a school as a system of learning and thought.

The distinguishing feature of the Three of Swords is ordering will, thought, and action through obedience to elders and learning. Through learning, a student receives knowledge of the world's hierarchy and can find and take a place within it.

  • Discipline.
  • Self-organization.
  • Rationality.
