Getting started with Medici

The short path from first launch to a saved layout.

The current Solitaire of Medici app works as a standalone application. You do not need an account to start: the app opens, generates layouts, and stores history on the device.

When you first explore the app, you can enable hints in settings. This shows contextual help points inside the interface.

New layout

On the home screen, choose a new layout. Then select the sequence type, target cards, and, when enabled in settings, current-state cards.

After generation, you can restart the search or save the result. Saved layouts appear in history.

Ready layout

Ready layouts are shortcuts and examples. They lead to the same result: the layout can be saved, opened from history, and walked through inside the app.

History

History is stored locally. It can be exported as a JSON backup and imported back later. Future sync will build on this model, but it is not required for normal Medici use.

When you open a saved layout from history, you can read it in fast or long form, add a name and description, delete the record, or start a walkthrough inside the app.
